One Sheet Wonder Technique

The following is a sample of how I created a One Sheet Wonder.
I used one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 Very Vanilla cardstock as my base. The stamp set I used is called True Friend. The ink colors I used throughout were inspired by the color palette from the new Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper in the new catty: ruby red, cameo coral, river rock.

Here I stamped the leaves in river rock randomly all over the cardstock. (It's okay to stamp off the page.)

Then, I stamped the large flower design randomly in Cameo Coral ink:

Here I took a random shot of all the supplies I used. This is my first time doing a picture tutorial so I sort of forgot to take a pic of this step first. Thus, you see my half stamped page with all my supplies piled on top. I don't have the full size pads for some colors so I used ink spots and my stampin' write markers also.

Then, I stamped the smaller flower medallion in ruby red randomly on the cardstock as well.
I then cut up the patterned cardstock I just stamped and layered it onto ruby red, chocolate chip, and river rock cardstock to create 7 different cards and a little family photo album. I added a few more embellishments (ribbon, brads, punches) and stamped images from the stamp set as well as some word stamps to make the cards more specific. Don't forget you can click on the picture to make it larger.

I cut my pieces pretty big but if I had cut them a little smaller, I could probably use them to make more cards. If anyone wants directions to these, feel free to email me and I will get them out to you! This was really super fun and a great way to make a set of coordinating cards quickly.

Stamp sets: True Friend, Fundamental Phrases * Cardstock: very vanilla, ruby red, chocolate chip, river rock * Ink: river rock, ruby red, cameo coral, chocolate chip * Accessories: scallop punch, word window punch, large oval punch, ticket corner punch, very vanilla taffeta ribbon, chocolate chip taffeta ribbon, old olive wide grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals, sponge, copper brads, silver brads, build-a-brad, rubons, gold cord

Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for a really lucky 1 year old! I wanted to make something special since this was her first birthday:

Stamp sets used: Simply Said, Hugs & Wishes, Priceless * Cardstock: whisper white, pretty in pink, chocolate chip * ink: black stazon, pretty in pink, certainly celery marker, pretty in pink marker, pixie pink marker * accessories: scallop punch, circle punch, rose grosgrain ribbon, dazzling diamond glitter, corner rounder punch

This is a pocket card - the sides are adhered with sticky strip (red line tape). There's glitter on the front of the card on the flowers (hard to see in the picture, but sparkly in real life!)

On SCS, I joined a secret sister swap which means that I secretly send my assigned little sis some happy mail for a set time period and we don't find out or tell until the end. I've been busy making some gifts for my little sis in Florida! Over the next few days, I will post some pics of the projects that I made over the last 2 months.

And.... today I just finished up a One Sheet Wonder project to show you. That will get posted up sometime this week as well.
